Burlington County Alternative School serves students who fall outside the established BCAS admission parameters or are at risk of dismissal from the regular day program. We provide tailored educational opportunities for students requiring in-person or virtual home instruction due to medical or disciplinary issues and those seeking 1-2 credit recovery courses while attending their home school for most of the day. Our school offers a smaller environment that benefits English Language Learners (ELLs) and provides flexible scheduling options tailored for adult students. We support students struggling with school phobia, school refusal, or requiring a shortened day and offer guidance through the NJDOE Portfolio Appeal process. Our transitional phase program also assists students attempting to enroll in the day program, accommodating special and general education needs.
